Best QFF Earn on Hotel Loyalty Schemes

Hi all,

I used to book SPG properties religiously when making hotel reservations due to the rate at which SPG points racked up (thanks to ongoing promos) and the 1:1 redemption with QFF with the 5k bonuses.

Now that QFF has left the SPG program, I am wondering what hotel loyalty programs you would recommend. I've mostly relied on Qantas Hotels when booking Australian domestic hotels (for the 3 points per AUD redemption), but am interested in your opinions re: any other worthwhile hotel loyalty programs for QFF redemption, especially from a U.S. perspective.

I really can't help in any present day basis; it was generally a PITA to get points to credit with claims the norm.

When I started using Adv+ for most stays, they were not eligible for QFF (although one or two did post to QFF ).

With my Starwood stays these days, all point go to SPG and then either to points+pay awards (few) or off to AAdvantage.

A year ago I decided I received more benefit from 15 HHonors point per USD rather than 10 per USD + 1K QFF points.

i.e. For me, 1000 QFF points < 1000 SPG points < 1000 AAdvantage points < 1000 HHonors points.
