Hi,
I'm trying to work out the best ff points earn for a 26 day hertz hire in the UK.
I have an Amex plat charge card so will be using that, but who should I direct the FF points from hertz to?

If I make several consecutive booking, would I earn more as they seem to be per booking.

I've got Hertz gold membership and a range of frequent flier cards, not working on anyone in particular at the moment...

Thanks for any advice,

Paul

Hertz rentals overseas earn a set number of points per booking, e.g. 800 Velocity points per booking. Making several bookings should increase the number of points earnt.

Another option is Hertz points, which are based on the dollars spent (base rate only, I think) in US dollars. This works well if you're spending a large amount. For example, if the rental is $1,300, you'd probably earn 1,000 points, which is enough for two free weekend days rental.

Ah yes - That would be a better option for a rental when you can't split the rentals into say 2-4 days instead of a month!

Forgot about the points and will use that on a few longer rentals coming up in the USA :)
