We are travelling to Bali in J on our first Virgin flight. We usually do not like Row 1 on Qantas. Looking at the configuration of the plane, it appears that Row 2 has restricted recline for the seat owing to the bulkhead behind it?

What seats on the 738 do you recommend??

Row 2. I haven't noticed any restriction in the recline and the legroom is much better than in row 1.

There was a topic on this very subject before not too long ago.... Someone link it? I'm on my iPad....

My response is still the same, I love 2F - Select that seat when I fly in J & feel my wrath of evil stares from 2A.....

On a somewhat related note - 1A on E190s SUCK!?

Definitely Row 2. The bulkhead in Row 1 does not allow you to stretch out.

Another vote for row 2. Also handy having the seat pocket to stash stuff in as well as the under seat storage.

Just remember, if you like to reline your seat, row 2, isle on the E190 may not go all the way back as the crew store stuff behind the seat which may stop it going all the way back.. The window seat did not have this issue..
