Granted I do have an ABN, and am considered self employed, where do I opt out of Aquire emails... or are they tied to QFF emails?
They are getting hungry...
Aquire is Aud$179 per year, first year waived... but still not cheap.

LTG that flies once maybe twice a year now.

Retired!

Self Managed Super Fund has an ABN - now I get emails from Acquire - yeah right!

Tossing the Monkey, so to speak, or talking more the bull...
I just do wonder, if QF or some human at/in QF has gone through the ABN listings register that the ATO holds, and yes, that info is quite widely available, to see what names pop up with the same contact address.
I certainly have not told QF that I have an ABN, even before mentioning it on here.
And if you 2 are receiving emails, and have ABNs too, it means some "ant" has been very hard working!
Not pointing fingers at anyone, but just saying.
The thing that gets me, is that QF devalued the goodwill of its FF by changing drastically the QFF program from Jul this year, and now they want my $179 (if I went ahead and joined)... is $179 so important to them, that they would practically ignore the angst of the QFF members feelings about the Jul changes?
Grr at you, QF, and no one at QF dares or wants to admit whose idea it was, this Jul changes.
And the gall of the person whose idea is to sprout the Aquire program.
QF, if you are reading this, or a high up person at QF, (probably not), take people off the Aquire Spam list.
Give us back our QFF program as it was prior to the Jul planned changes, and I will be better towards you.
Ok, my mouthing ends off now.

Sheesh!!!!
No wonder, they have given (as they (QF) do, like with AMEX), they have given out addresses or something to Deloittes.
Bugga. Talk about privacy.

I think you may need to get over the fact that the program will not go back to the way it was pre-July 1.

As for the emails, by law there needs to be an unsubscribe function at the bottom of the email. Click on it and your wish will be complete.

Have you ever put your ABN into a booking for Qantas business reports purposes? That might be how they've got your details.

And it's not just emails from Aquire! It seems to me that QF is less and less an airline these days and more a company trying to leverage a once great brand into all sorts of JV businesses - whether its cash advances, credit cards, overpriced wines, car renatls, hotels blah blah blah.
I think AJ read the Richard Branson song book and took everything literally and though - I can do that!!

Red Roo did contact me about my spamming, the QF message and my response below.

Hi there.

Thanks for the message, but don't bother I have dealt with it myself.

If 'the team' wants to actually do something bring back Crown Larger to the Club lounges as the first thing.

I have been a loyal QANTAS passenger for many years and correcting a few spam emails does not correct other issues which to me are more important.

While I do appreciate the contact from QANTAS, please don't contact me again unless you are prepared to put your name and number so I can contact you direct and properly.

Hi BAM1748

The Aquire team were concerned to hear that you've received 3 of these emails, and would appreciate an opportunity to follow up.

So they can investigate, please provide your Frequent Flyer number as reference.

Kind regards

Red Roo
