Term refers to drop in standards through alcohol's effect on judgment...

Wonder if higher altitudes in airplanes compound "beer goggles" effect.

That's assuming people rate attractiveness on top when judging the worthiness of the opposite sex.

As for beer. It helps me relax. Good to have a drink before a long haul flight even early in the morning.
