I have surplus velocity points.......:confused::confused:

1. Can I use my velocity points to redeem a flight award for "someone else'' or, can I only use them to book a flight in the name of the velocity account holder?

2. If I can redeem points to book a ticket for ''someone else", does that person have to be 'related' to me?

I think you can book a ticket for anybody, being related is not required
