That was last Friday. I guess we got to the carousel around 7:30pm and then 30 minutes of nothing.
That said, it's very unusual to have to wait more than 5 minutes at any airport to get my bag. If you take enough flights there's going to be good and bad days.

6 domestic sectors done with VA heres the follow up -
3 flights landed in SYD, 2 flights landed in BNE, and one into MEL

5 /6 sectors had bags come out within the first 10 bags.
1/ 6 sectors had the bag come first !!!

In terms of timing 2 sectors I waited longer than 10 mins since arriving at the belt for the bags to come out. (both in SYD)

I also took a QF flight into BNE on Friday night after my trial. Bag came out amongst the middle of group tagged luggage at the end.

Just have confirmed a long haul VA flight into LAX and back into SYD. Just to see what its like in one of my frequently visited International ports. Granted sample size of 1 is useless but Im flirting away
