Baggage allowance for VA Gold

If I book a 'seat' fare as VA gold can I take one bag instead of two if I booked a 'seat+bag' or is the fare restrictive to no bags regardless of status

It is the latter. To get any additional baggage allowance you need to have bought a product with a checked bag in the first place.
 
Thanks, lucky I checked thought it may have been like VA but obviously not
