Baggage Allowance confusion/question

I a couple of weeks, my wife and I are off on a month long trip.
ADL-MEL-LAX-LAS-JFK-CDG-LHR-SIN-SYD-ADL
All secors except LAS-JFK, JFK-CDG and CDG-LHR are on QF with the US leg on AA and the JFK-LHR flights on BA.
I'm QF gold and wife is QF silver.
We are booked in Y with J upgrades in the system for all the QF legs.
My query is baggage allowance on BA.
With QF we have either 2 or 3 bags each up to 23kg, and I'm fine with this. But the QF booking page shows us with 1 x 23kg bag each on BA.
Am I missing something, or is the website missing something?
We can always pay for an extra bag or 2 if needed (yes - she WILL be doing some shopping in the US!), but is the OW status that we both have worth anything on BA?

Looks like additonal oneworld baggage allowance applies to QF Gold and higher (not QF silver). But if on the same booking as a gold, other members of the travelling party also get an increased allowance.
