I’ve been waiting—like many others—for my Back to Business Bonus Status Credits to appear. I finally gave up and called Virgin, only to be told that none of my six flights (flown during the promotion period) were eligible. According to the agent, four were booked before the promotion period and the other two were flown during the promotion period.
I am going to enquire about the 2 flights during the promotion period further but I questioned the four earlier bookings, because the promotion clearly states: “The best part is… the offer applies to past and future bookings taken between 12 January 2026 and 31 March 2026.” Based on that wording, my flights should qualify. But the T&Cs say you must activate the offer and then book and fly within the promotion period. If that’s the case, how could any “past booking” possibly qualify?
The Virgin agent mentioned they’ve been receiving a lot of calls about this. Are they correct, and does anyone have more information about how this promotion is actually being applied?
