Hi,

Would anyone be able to tell me about today's BA10 syd-lhr via Bangkok what loading in PE (T class) is like?

I suppose possibility of opup is highly unlikely for OW sapphire (QF Gold).

Weirdly, Seatcounter.com isn't showing any figures for W/T (ie WT seats)

Code:
A B C D F H I J K L M N O Q R S V Y
3 9 2 1 3 9 0 4 9 9 9 0 0 9 0 9 0 9
British 10 747-400 SYD/05:35p LHR/06:20a (+1d)

Expertflyer is a lot more co-operative, and shows the following on the through flight:
Code:
F3 A3 J4 C2 D1 R0 I0 W0 T0 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 L9 V0 S9 N0 Q9 O0 G0

As the flight is sold as three seperate sectors (ie SYD-BKK, BKK-LHR and SYD-LHR), you also probably should have a look at the other two sectors.

SYD-BKK
Code:
F3 A3 J9 C8 D8 R7 I7 W9 T9 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 L9 V9 S9 N0 Q0 O0 G0

and BKK-LHR [9th Oct as it doesn't leave BKK until 00:20]
Code:
 F3 A3 J5 C0 D0 R0 I0 W0 T0 Y9 B9 H9 K9 M9 L9 V9 S9 N0 Q9 O0 G0

So looks pretty quiet SYD-BKK, then very busy in WT+ from BKK-LHR.

This could just be the way the flight is being sold - for example, they may not want any last minute sales in WT+ from BKK, but not really that likely.

Also, BA doesn't treat Qantas sapphire/emerald members that well with op-ups, I believe their own members are higher in the upgrade tree.

See how you go though.

Thanks, Mal. Will look forward to stretching out a bit on first leg.

Will report if I have success.
