I have read "rumours" that BA may look at the continuation of their SIN flights to SYD.

I am looking at booking BA WT plus in December SIN to SYD now Qantas does not provide PE. Any thoughts on these rumours? If BA were to withdraw from the route there would be no Premium Economy available, so I assume they would offer only Qantas economy. Scoot Biz is not comparable.

They may have been tempted until recently, with VS off the route via HKG, I suspect they are seeing better loads, helped by the better equipment feeding Singapore.

BA have being doing some promotions for the SYD/SIN flight through their corporate customers.

Hosting employee info sessions etc with very good quality (Q/Red Roo are you listening?) card handouts showing the seating configuration for the BA15/BA16 flights, seat pitches etc per class. Worth having a look to see forward seat availability but have noticed that fares are not being discounted (Nov-Feb 15 period at least so far) compared with some other carriers.

Very much pushing the 'modern class leading B777' versus what's available with competition (SIA A380 not shabby!). I know they've been picking up some premium share due to requirement for other airlines to go via HK sometimes.
