B744 VH-OEB - Refreshed Recently - Anyone flown?

Hi,

Anyone flown on VH-OEB in the last two weeks since its been back from a 6 week heavy check?

Apparently it has had a cabin refurb/refesh. (No new seats just "refreshed")

VH-OJM will follow in the coming months.

OEB/OJM are the only B744s in the fleet that don't have the upgraded A380 seats installed.

Just interested if anyone knows what the refresh involved?

Good question and I was wondering the same thing...

There is a good choice I will be flying on VH-OEB next month - will report back then if no-one else has yet.

I believe the refresh involves new seat covers, carpet and mood lighting. So nothing major, but a modest improvement. It's a shame they aren't replacing the IFE.

It's set to the same temp as the toasters in the QC - impossible to get even a tan unless you resubmit 27 times!!

Even in F the QF toasters are a total failure. They just don't toast bread like most of us expect. They warm the bread and perhaps add a bit of colour, but the bread certainly isn't "toasted".
