Last January I made a booking for a vehicle in Capalaba via the avis.co.uk website however the points didn't show up in my account. When I called Avis about this they said that the booking wasn't eligible for points as it was on a discounted rate. The QFF website says that points are not earned on government rates, travel industry rates and rentals that are part of a package, or some corporate rates however I wouldn't have thought that these would be applicable to my booking. Has anybody else had this issue when booking through the UK site?

Scott.

It is not just the UK website.

I had 2 bookings in September that I was crediting to VS Flying Club. Points did not appear although they appeared in the past.

I sent off emails to Avis and no response. I then sent off emails to VS and finally got a response in January from them that the issue will be resolved. I received an email from an Avis regional manager saying bookings were not eligible for points. I argued the point and a few days later I noticed that 1,000 points had credited instead of 2,000 points. I could not be bothered to argue anymore. I am guessing they paid out points as if it was a corporate booking.
