Availability of UA award seats with KF pts

What is the availability like for United domestic award seats for KF members?

Due to poor availability of DL flights using velocity pts, I am considering converting the VFF to KF even though I will loose 98,000 in the conversion but not much point if seat availability just as limited with United (bordering on non existent for VFF members wanting DL seats).
