Hi all,

So I managed to nab some excellent AA awards on Etihad not too far in the future flying J PER-AUH and then F Apartment from AUH-LHR.

As I did this through AAdvantage however, there is always one hiccup in an otherwise flawless plan. The AAgent decided it would be great to book me on two different itineraries, one for each segment. Now I seriously doubt that AA will actually join them into one so I just want to figure out how long it will take to pass immigration, customs and walk to F check-in? Trying to maximise that F entitlement like the massage and shave by etihad things haha.

I'm pretty certain I've got plenty of time but I've never connected through AUH and am not totally sure of timings in it. Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

Suspect the the flights will effectively be linked when you check in since bags have to go all the way through and you'll be given both BPs on checkin.

I think its 2 and a bit hours is the layover time.

I hope that they will link them together at check in otherwise if its anything like incoming to AUS, it will take quite a while just to get through arrivals.
