As a WP, can I use CX 1st class check in at HKG?

I have looked everywhere on QF website but could not find anything re OW check in. Can someone please help?

Short answer is yes:

Only if you are flying on a CX flight. You need to check-in at the desk for the airline you are flying. As a OneWorld Emerald member you can use the First Class check-in for the OneWorld airline you are flying.

Thanks. I will be flying CX from HKG to DXB so that would be ok.

As others have noted yes for a CX flight. Used this on Tuesday at HKG and was very impressed.

They are essentially desks and the attendant does the check in while another person prepares your bag.

As I walked up to the desk, a CX man approached me, I showed my WP card was warmly welcomed. All in all a very pleasant experience and priority baggage tags really work here.

Not in my experience. Not sure what would happen if one was to call CX reservations and request an exit row.
