Hey all,

Some of you may have already seen the post about trying to get around Australia to all capital cities in under 48 hours. After a few days we finally have a plan, but no one in virgin to help.

I have emailed corporate communications and a contact in the CEO team and nothing. Phoned platinum customer care this afternoon and they can't help either. Getting beyond frustrating now. Does anyone have a contact in VA that can help with 1) complex bookings and 2) organising filming rights on board and in the lounge?

I know it's a long shot but I thought I'd ask.

Don't muck around. Go straight to the top.

Haha. I usually email mark hassell but really don't want to have to keep relying on annoying directors.

It's all the same to me - people who really shouldn't have to deal with the rantings of customers just wanting help from someone. Oh well, he is usually excellent and replies well after 7pm. I guess I might just have to annoy him again.

I'll PM you :)

All you are doing is making a few flights.
Nothing special.

I would expect to be told to call customer service, or book it on the Internet.

Platinum call center wont help - want everyone under one booking number so dont want online, also dont want to pay 10 x CC surcharge. Need to get filming rights too.

Yeah emailed them Monday morning - nothing so much as a reply email or voice-mail since.

Silence can be deafening. If you film your travel stunt and all goes well - happy days. If you film your stunt and a couple of flights go tech, delayed or otherwise fubared they don't want you filming a whole bunch of whiners and putting it out there.
