Hi ,
Just wondering if anyone would share their experience dealing with Turkish Airline in relation to changing flights/getting a refund. They advertised no-change fee for future flights but if it’s a frustrating process to deal with their CS, then its not worth it for me.

I had TK tickets purchased through an OTA for Sept 2020, which I was able to convert to open tickets. However I'm doubtful that we will be able to use them by Dec 31 this year, so I contacted TK Australia, and the agent told me that the TA would be able to get a refund.

Thanks for sharing! That sounds like a positive outcome, all considered?

Friend of mine had a flight ex DPS cancelled due to covid. The refund came through in about three weeks I think, give or take.

By far they have been the best to deal with for me. April 2020 flights cancelled (obviously) in about February or even as late as March. Phone answered instantly both times I needed to call, excellent English spoken. Offered flight credit, date change or refund. Got my refund in a couple days. 5 stars!

Wow, i am impressed! Thanks for sharing that 👍

With it looking likely that Australian borders will remain closed for the rest of the year, I contacted TK to see if we could get a refund. Our tickets were changed to open which are supposed to be flown by December 31 this year. The TK rep told me to go through our OTA, who I contacted last Saturday. I received an email this morning that my refund ($6.8k+) has been processed and I will receive it 3-5 business days. The refund amount is only $55 less than what I paid 15 months ago. There are no details of who has kepr the $55, but I'm really happy with the outcome.
