Any way of converting points from other FF programmes?

Hi all,
I'm pretty sure this can't be done, but thought it might be worthwhile asking just in case.

I've got a couple of flights coming up on Thai airways. Is there any way I can somehow get points ported around to end up in my Velocity account? I only have Velocity membership really, and a few points sitting there doing nothing with Qantas and Skywards, and nothing with any Star Alliance airline. I'd hate to see the points go to waste!

Unfortunately there's nothing you could do actually. Depending on the number of miles earned you could credit them to aegean and earn 3 years worth of star alliance silver status. This also depends on your fare class purchased with TG.

Sometimes you can credit to them to a hotel program or use points.com. You may also get up enough for a gift card
