Any Plans on any enhancements for Platinums and to have a tier higher than Platinum?

Hi Velocity FF,
I have requalified for platinum after only 3 monhts, im one of your customers than flies 2 -4 every week.

2 questions for you if you could answer would be great.

1) Any plans in introducing any enhancements for platinum frequent flyers?
2) are you planning on any tier higher than Platinum, i ask as il soon have my partner up to gold through family pooling but if there was plans to introuduce such a level id keep more status credits myself, if not il probably end up getting her to platinum too.

ha ha , wouldn't mind that email address but alas no.
i only wanted to check as iv so much VA travel over the next 9 months to do, if there was a inkling of such a tier being created id keep a few more status credits for myself.
It was a long shot but why not on a friday, no harm done

Again it's not really one that we are able to discuss publicly sorry. It is good to hear you re able to focus on getting your partner status with us too though!

It would be nice to made aware if you were planning on a status above Plat as my husband and I reached Plat 6-8 months prior to review date and now pool to the kids (who are also Plat), which may sound good to many however as we often all travel together it is quite difficult to use 4 comp upgrades at once hence we still have 20 available between the 4 of us! Anyway, my point is that if I knew there was going to be a status higher I would not bother pooling to the kids.

There are several MP positions becoming vacant in September. Apply for one of those jobs, and if successful VA might upgrade your membership!

And that's a bonus? One may have to compete with Clive Palmer for the buffet :shock:.

(I wonder if when MPs get the boot, their respective "Club/CL" memberships also suddenly expire? It's not like they're the common garden variety celebrity after all.)

Yes - please don't ever use the word "enhancements" here.

I still miss the QFF redemption for 35000 points where you could have 5 J flights anywhere around Australia in the 1 PNR!

Dunno that one, but both QF and AN had an award in Business class for up to 11,000 km solely domestic Austrlaia for 37,500 points (and initially, no +++). [30K for economy]
