Any one know of any bag storage at LAX

I would check my bag at Marriott West Century and pay a suitable tip on pick up. Their baggage room can handle it. Catch their free shuttle.

I believe there is no baggage storage at the airport itself.

This is true, at least it was 6 months ago when I was there.
There are luggage storage facilities but they are located off-site for security reasons.
You can phone them (and I think pre arrange) for them to come and pick it up and drop it back for you.
In the end I didn't need to, but here is one such service, I'm sure there's more;
LAX Luggage Storage.com - For your baggage storage lockers at the LAX airport

I used this service in 2012. Stored a big suitcase for about 3 weeks. They picked it up upon our arrival and returned it to us when requested, at the airport - cost was US$196 cash. No problems at all.

Agree with this, but you can pretty much use any of the major chains - I've used the Sheraton in the past. A nice tip when dropping off and one on pick up and everyone's happy.

It is good to have a choice so you can use the first pick up bus to come to get to the Sheraton or Marriott.
