Hi All,
Just been given a free pass for the Qantus Club lounge by Qantus for a mistake they made. Any ideas of what this will entitle me to? I will be flying from Heathrow with BA as Qantus cancelled their flight and transfered me to BA!! Which lounges can I get into and what benefits will I get?
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to AFF, Phill. A few things. First, Qantas operates a joint QF/BA lounge at Heathrow T4. However, if you're flying out on or after 29 October then you'll be departing from Heathrow T3. According to the oneworld website the lounges in T3 are not yet classed as a joint QF/BA lounge so if you are flying after the end of October I'd be double-checking with Qantas to make sure you'll actually be able to use your pass there. The chances are you will because of the joing services agreement (JSA) between QF and BA which means reciprocal lounge arrangements but it's worth checking. The only lounges you will be able to access with this pass are the joint QF/BA lounges.

The lounges are very nice and the benefits include complimentary alcoholic beverages, a complimentary buffet with hot and cold food, TVs, reading material, computers (free wifi) and extensive seating. Apparently the T3 lounge does not have shower facilities but the joint QF/BA lounge at T4 does.

Oh, and we're used to seeing Qantas not Qantus!

Incidentally, what was the QF flight that was cancelled?

It was a flight out on the 19th Nov that was cancelled, I was transfered to a flight 24hrs later without being informed. I rang and complained and was offered to be transfered to the BA flight leaving 6hrs later than the cancelled flight. The rep on the phone then warned me that any other changes would be chargable a very bad attitude from the rep so I complained to the CEO thus the free tickets as a good will gesture. To be fair Qantas;) were ok when I complained.
