Hi all
I have just booked economy exit row seat on Etihad metal EY454 Abu Dhabi to Sydney departing tomorrow 27th Dec for my son.
I selected exit row 32 but upon review on seatguru I've noticed a difference on the exit row surroundings IE toilets/galley which differ from Etihad's aircraft seat map layout.
Exit row seats are located at Row 18 and Row 32 as per Etihad's seating plan on the Etihad booking page.
Exit Row 18 on Etihad seat map shows NO toilets in that area, BUT on seatguru Exit Row 18 shows a block of 6 toilets just in front of that seating area.
Exit Row 32 on Etihad seat map shows toilets in front of Exit Row 32, but seatguru shows Galley to be in that area.
So two different toilet/galley layouts for the same plane 77W (3 class config)
As my son definately wants to be away from toilets for the 14 hour flight, not sure which Exit Row seat to select out of the 2 exit rows available.
Normally when I refer to seatguru their aircraft layout is same as the airlines seat selection map, so this is the first time I've encounted a totally different toilet / Galley layout for the exact same aircraft and 3 class configuration
As the flight departs in 18 hours time from Abu Dhabi, any immediate assistance that can be offered would be appreciated so I can select for him an exit row seat away from the loos.
