Hi,
Newbie here so apols if I'm posting in the wrong place. I'm trying to get 2 J seats to London leaving around 22/05/09 for less than 7k each if possible. I just missed the Etihad sale by hours (to say I was annoyed is an understatement..!) where seats were $6100 all in on jetabroad.
I'm determined to pay no more than $6500 each and have reserved MH business/Econ mix as contingency. I don't need to ticket the MH seats until 20th March, what are the chances of something coming up between now and then given that travel is down overall? Jetabroad is showing Etihad/Emirates and Finnair/Cathy Pacific at around $7200 all in so not too far to fall into my price range.
The only criteria is ex MEL and as few stops to London as possible but I won't consider lower quality carriers like China Eastern etc
Theoretically I can pay more and just be done with it but Etihad have set the bar low for me and I'm stubborn as well as being a bit tight! All pointers gratefully received.
Cheers,
Mags
