I'm sure this question has been answered before, but I've searched previous posts and I'm even more confused.

I am flying J on QF SYD-SIN, and I was wondering if I have access to the EK lounge? If so, which lounge is better in SYD - QF or EK?

I haven't flown international for over a year, but was disappointed with the MEL lounge last time (no champagne!) so would prefer to try the EK lounge in Sydney as I've heard they serve Veuve. Small world problems I know, but I do love my bubbles!

Thanks in advance.

The rules say "yes", but some EK lounge dragon seem to know it better. Can take some discussion at times. On top, the EK lounge is far away from the QF gates.

Edit: Ironically, the EK SIN lounge is closer to the QF departure dates then the QF lounge, so that's a no-brainer for the return flight.

Yes you can enter the EK lounge.

However you do need to look up where it is located and decide if it is worth the extra walk if it is away from where QF board their flights.

You also would want to check if it was open for when your flight is departing, as EK lounges have limited hours set to when they have a flight departing.

None of which I can help much, as I have not yet used the EK lounge in SYDNEY to date.
