Firstly sorry I know these answers are on here it in a bit of a hurry as now even more confused and have flights today I want to sort where to put my SC.

Basically my anniversary date was 30th Nov. I have just achieved Platinum as of Today. My profile now says anniversary date is now 4th Aug and need to get 800 SC to requal for Plat before 8th AUg 2013.

I was planning on dumping al my SC to my wife (thinking my anniv date would still be 30th Nov) to help her maintain Gold before her qual date on 30th Nov as well but am thinning now I should keep all these to add towards my requal.

Is this correct. Am I right thinning that I can't achieve partner gold until I get another 800 SC then 500 on top of that?

Just spoke to the velocity on the phone and even more confused.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure you can transfer your SCs to yóur spouse: unless you mean you will opt to upgrade them to Gold in place f the bonus FF points.

Unless your spouse travels separately, I'm not sure that's such a good strategy: she will enjoy access with you to your lounge access etc if travelling with you. If she travels separately on her own, I could understand why you would want to gift her Gold.

You can 'family' pool your points/SC's - so one strategy is once a status is retained to then pool your points/SC's to your spouse.
