Hello AFF'ers,

Has anyone been successful trying to book tickets via amex using the amex travel credit? I'm looking for flights SYD-CBR for 03/02, but no flights are returned in amex, but available in QF website

Cheers,
Ade

Seeing the same thing here. You might need to process the booking over the phone with Amex Travel when they come online tomorrow.

I booked BNE-CNS in Dec with no issues via the web.

I was searching QF flights via Amex Travel with a view to using my travel credit over the weekend and had no difficulty seeing flights out of MEL, SYD, BNE etc. Didn't specifically look at SYD - CBR.

I used my travel credit yesterday on a BNE-SYD-BNE booking. This is for June this year. I noticed a number of flights were not able to be booked and I am putting it down to Amex having sold all of their inventory.

Update : called AMEX travel desk today morning and the person on the phone mentioned that tickets booked in AMEX travel must be done 48 hours before travel date. I was booking a flight for 2mrw, so the system didn't list any flights. As an one time exception, the agent booked the tickets on the phone.
