Accor Plat benefit is still going too, no set expiry to the best of my knowledge.

Can anybody tell me how the Accor renewal works?
Mine expires at the end of Feb and last year it was extremely painful to sort out and I ended up with two separate new account numbers. One for Accor Platinum and one for Accor Plus neither of which were my original Accor account number

The reserve card only gives you a free flight or a hotel stay and not both. I've had this card since it came out.

Like previously mentioned you can use your Accor advantage plus free hotel room with the free flight.

I have both the Platinum Charge and the companion Reserve. I have used both the free Accor 1 x hotel night and the free 1 x return flight, which comes with holding both cards. That is, you get both.

Similar here. I emailed them and they were merged to the same account number.

I think everyone is talking past each other. The Platinum charge card give Accor Plus, which gives you a free night in an Accor hotel. The Platinum charge card lets you have the Reserve as a companion card, which gives you either a free flight or a free hotel night from their list of hotels.

Whether it is "and" or "or" depends on exactly what someone wants to know. Talking just about what you get via the Reserve it is 'flight or hotel', but if we're talking about what you indirectly get from the charge card then it is 'flight and hotel' (or two hotel nights).

Both our Accor Platinum and Accor Plus were acquired via the charge card. Both were automatically renewed and sent out in the post. Didn't have any issues here with two accounts.

Hmm, that's interesting, but I'm not sure if it will impact APAC's AccorPlus benefit too. I guess we can call in and check, but glad HHonors Gold is back (at least in UK, hopefully APAC soon though)

Received an email about my Accor Plus for next year, renewed by Amex it seems but I now have a third account number !!!

I have received 2 emails in the past 7 days regarding this, both welcome emails. This is similar to last year. This time, at least, they are using my current Accor member number.

I recall that last year I was provided with a new member number, but after contacting them on [email protected] they deleted the new account number, so I kept the original.

Accor benefits still show for me under 'Benefits Directory', however it does state:
Enrolment is required and available from 1 October 2013 until 30 March 2016.

Identical for me. I can see it still listed under my benefits, but the fine print also says it expires 30 March 2016.

I called amex yesterday and they said they are still negotiating with Accor for extension. They will write to us in writing in March if they cannot negotiate the extension.

I wonder if they will replace it with something else? I rang the call center today about it and got different answers.
