Looks like AMEX did the auto transfer of Qantas points on 23/4 but they still haven't arrived in the Qantas account yet. Hmm! It wasn't even end of billing cycle and they transferred points out..

I'm over the moon for you Yeti. And thanks for alerting 'watchers to the amex promo. we're all richer for the experience;)

Re your post, my unsolicited Nab Qantas Amex card likewise automatically transferred points to Qff this month (and the points are recorded by qff as received by qff), but my normal old Amex card has points in MR for future transfers to either Qff or Velocity. I plan on having (and it won't be long now) just enough in qff for international flights for the family on Qantas and then using MR as my 'bank' until the airline industry returns to safer waters.

Yes, my amex account went to 0 in the last 2 days (Thurs I think) but I've yet to see anything appear in the QFF account.

Interestingly this does not follow the AMEX billing cycle for my card.

With my Commonwealth Bank Mastercard, the monthly points deposit into Qantas account follows the billing cycle precisely.

So I know 1 things - one when my Mastercard has "cut off" and therefore I'm into the next billing cycle and two, what my closing balance is - eg if i get 7500 points, I know I have to pay $7500 off the Mastercard that month!

Hi, when you go into americanexpress.com.au and enter your details. Then click on recent transactions or whatever it is called. That screen has a points balance.

Suddenly one day last week this went to 0.

The points have appeared today in Qantas Account at around midday.

Same thing has happened on my CardServices (citibank) account. All points to zero looks like this cough is finally working as planned.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
