There's presently an offer going of earning 50,000 points by applying for an American Express Platinum Card.

The offer states you've got to spend $500 in the first 3 months and is not available to existing card members. Does anyone know if an "additional card holder" to an existing card member's account would preclude them from this offer? What would be the best way to confirm one way or another?

Hi cssaus,

Calling the card issuer would be my first choice.
