ALL Flight + Hotel packages - earn ALL status points from flying!

Was reading the ALL T&C (as you do) and noticed this clause..

7.4 Earning Status points and Reward points via Flight + Hotel.

Flight + Hotel provide a combination of tourist services (for example, packages containing flights+hotel).

It is operated by a third-party travel partner, Expedia Inc., on behalf of ALL – Accor Live Limitless. Members are subject to the general terms and conditions of Flight + Hotel.

Members can earn Points on the full value of the package: For every €2 (two euros) spent, a Member will earn one (1) Reward Point and one (1) Status Point. The Member must be present for the entire duration of the package to be eligible for earning Points.

Points will be credited within a maximum of seven (7) days from the end date of the trip.

Stays completed as part of Flight + Hotel will not be considered as Eligible Stays:
- Rates from the ALL Members programme will not be applicable;
- Members will not be able to use their Reward points when booking or to reduce the amount of the invoice for their stay;
- Members will not earn Status Nights;
- Status benefits (welcome drink, upgrade, guaranteed availability, etc.) will not be available

I hadn't heard of this Flight + Hotel portal before and thought it was an interesting opportunity to generate ALL status points, especially when booking family/group flights.

$45k total spend would see you reach ALL Platinum from zero. Not an insignificant amount of money, but the portal is a relabelled Expedia search so the flight pricing seems reasonable in the spot checks I did, and if you're booking for several people through an OTA anyway it could be a worth checking out.

It could also be useful for anyone close to hitting Plat/Diamond and need a little extra push.

You need to book at least one night in an Accor property along with the flights, which ridiculously you won't receive any elite benefits or earn status nights for. The remainder of your trip is best booked directly for status nights/benefits and better ALL earn rate.

The .net.au domain suggests this is specifically targeting Australians, and Terms of Use is governed by NSW law. I searched my email and Accor sent out one email about this in April, but otherwise it seems to have largely flown under the radar. (apologies if I've missed existing threads about it!)
