Hi Guys....
Might be reading it wrong, however was looking at booking a flight that is marketed by EY as a formal connection FCO-AUH-BNE, first leg alitalia operated (EY codeshare) into EY metal leg, rang the call centre....was told alitalia bookings cannot be combined and would need to be two seperate bookings, which obviously would not want.
What is the point of having alitalia as a reward partner? Maybe it could be linked to VA metal, but given their withdrawal out of AUH, in my mind alitalia is a useless partner for reward redemption for velocity members
