Airport taxes/Charges

I am new to this forum and have been looking at Tiger and Asia Air flights and some of them are quoted excluding taxes and charges where can I get a list of these charges at various airports.

You can use the ITA tool ITA Software: Login or similar to check another carriers prices and you can get breakdown of taxes.

The problem you face is taxes and charges may or may not include charges for fuel surcharge etc.
QF for example have a huge fuel surcharge (in the taxes and charges section) but AA do not, they put the fuel surcharge into there base fare.

Can you dummy price out on the Tiger site yet ?

Thank you, tried the ITA site and its hard to beleive that the taxes`are so much dearer than the actual fare. Havent tried the dummy on Tiger yet.

Well thats the catch, if you see the taxes thats part of it, but the 'surchages' are named to be deceptive and are often simply money for the airline not actually a tax to a govt or airport etc,.
