Thanks to the pilots who answered the question about currency.

Now while they're important, pilots aren't the only people on the plane.

So how long from the time they walk off the plane do flight attendants have until they need retraining?

There's also the various engineers etc. How long do they have?

And what other personnel will time out, as it were?

As always thanks in advance for your responses.

Solution
Flight attendants are required to do their recurrent training every 6 months. So come September, most crew would have expired. But there are also other factors that would prevent crew from flying. There are several courses that are done online that are not being done that would prohibit you from flying if not completed. Then you have international crew who need a USA visa. Mine just expired, and the embassy are not allowing renewal at this stage, so I wouldn't be able to do any US flying, should that return or be a repatriation flight.

Forgot to mention that the longer you don't do your recurrent, the more training you have to do when you return. If it is over 1 year but less than 2 there is some additional training on top of the normal day. Over 2 years but less than 4 is a return to work program and over 4 years absent, you must do the full initial training again.

One of my many dislikes about the USA.

When I'm king, I'm simply going to apply whatever rules the US applies to our crew to them.
