3 x 4 x 3 seems to be the standard now for the 777s...AZ has just done the same following KL and AF's lead. AA's new 77Ws will have 3 x 4 x 3 and its current 772s will be changed to this as well.

EY is another airline which has gone to 3 x 4 x 3.

EK of course has always had 3-4-3. And Scoot reconfigured old SQ planes in 3-4-3, but they are a LCC so to be expected, in fact it's a wonder they didn't go to 3-5-3 .;) Still plenty of options with only 9 seats across though, including MH, CX, SQ, DL, BA, VA to name but a few.

About time NZ decided what they were going to do with the 777-200's

I really love the NZ product on the 77W and going to the 772 you really notice the difference!

I only fly them in J so I guess it's different for those in Y

TG is also a 3-3-3 airline, and they actually initially went with 10 abreast but reconfigured it down to 9! That's what we like to see. Even UA is 9 abreast.

I really hate 10 across seating in a 777!

I prefer 6 across :!:

I actually think the C class seats on the 777-200 are far nicer than those on the -300 (and I fly these a/c a lot in C class).

The problem with the -300 (window seat) is that the tray table for the seat behind you is next to where your ear would be when resting, so you get a jarring headache whenever the person behind you puts their tray table away. Also, the person behind you will likely caresse your face with his boot too.

On the -200, the layout is much better designed, so you tend not to get those problems.

Not impressed, but that's the way NZ seems to be going.
