Air NZ Checkin times

Quick question, I'm on an evening Air NZ flight out of SYD and wanted to know how strict the 2hr checkin cutoff is. I'm planning to leave work and go straight to the airport, but i'll probably be at checkin 80-90 minutes prior to depature. Issue? Or will it be ok

Can't comment on SYD, but recently flew MEL-AKL on NZ, and checked in about 60-70 mins before departure. No problems at all. I didn't have checked luggage though.
