Air NZ/ Air Nelson earn question.

Hi All,

Quick question for those in the know.

Have to fly WLG/NPE/WLG at the end of the month, which is a Air NZ flight number but operated by Air Nelson.
Does it earn Points/Status credits?
Booked via the air NZ website and in Smart Saver or Flexi plus fare categories.

The VA website says the following in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics/secret code/negative but means a positive?

You cannot earn Points on codeshare flights other than those operated by Air New Zealand Link carriers, including Air Nelson, Eagle Airways and Mount Cook Airlines, and Virgin Australia.

It depends on your booking class. You will only earn points/SC's if you booked in Q,H or M for discount economy

Your Flexi booking may be OK as Y & B earn for full economy

"Air Nelson" == "Air NZ" as far as eligibility to earn goes - so just look up AirNZ earnings ...

It just like "QantasLink" == "Qantas" == "Jetconnect"
