Air New Zealand cabin crew strip off for safety video

I think its very well done!:oops:

YouTube - Bare essentials of safety from Air New Zealand

Air New Zealand cabin crew strip off for safety video | Travel News | News.com.au
AIR New Zealand has figured out a way to make passengers pay attention to safety instruction - have them read out by flight attendants wearing only body paint.
In the video the body-painted crew cheerfully give the safety instructions, including where to stow baggage and how to use oxygen masks.

They seem to be very keen on stripping off, for anything at the moment..

Could be a bit chully with the aircon rooly turned up

Welcome to AFF haydensingleton!

I'd be happy if only one gender worked in the paint. I don't want things dangling around my head whilst trying to eat!! :D

Just read the news.com.au article's reader comments. Looks like a sizeable number of people like the idea - as does yours truly - with the balance being plain ignorant or stupid.

I think I'd be guffawing just to see the 'extra' comical bits being said and transcribed below in closed captioning, e.g.

(about seatbelts) Not so tight as to lose the feeling in your legs, but enough to ensure it's snug and fits low across your hips.

If an oxygen mask does drop down in front of you, don't stop to ask why...

...or if you could have one in another colour...

If you find yourself wanting to smoke while on board...sorry, but you're plum out of luck.

Yep, smoking anywhere on the plane is a big no-no, as it's a hazard.

Good that they have the closed captioning though, since I'd imagine there'd be a fair share of people who can't speak Kiwi English. :)

Also a bit of a goof when they mention that the nearest exit could be behind you, then they look behind them - their nearest exit is probably right in front of them if not in their row! (The number of rows looks like they are sitting in the exit row.)

Don't be silly - the prduction company needs the extra space at the front to position the video recording equipment to make the Advertisement ...

... so if the subject did need to make an emergency exit they would have to head back lest they trip over a tripod or something. :p

Stupid? Personally I do not see the big deal. I do not like it and I think it is a little childish. Honestly I prefer to be watching and listening to the current Qantas safety demonstration....

Fair enough with your opinion, but when you have a comment that reads:

i can't understand a word they were saying hope they wiped down those seats too...

....not only is that direct quote from a comment incoherent English that even a primary school student is more capable of, but that is stupid.

I won't even start with the overzealous feminist comments or the comments about the degradation of society.
