Currently on a code shared fight Air Baltic operated with BA - from LGW to RIX (Riga, Latvia). Paid for 2 pax in Y £307 plus seat selection €36 for row 5. Aircraft is A220-300. Rows 1 -3 are J but seats are 2 x 3 - exactly the same as in Y. Y seats are nice leather, legroom is good (I can cross my legs). No free food or drink for the 2h 45m flight - they are for purchase.
Since we no longer have any BA status we could not go to BA lounge at LGW (QF plat cannot go to BA lounge when flying a code shared BA flight)
One pleasantly surprised feature on this aircraft is the very fast and reliable free starlink wifi (hence I am now posting this). The wifi is available as the aircraft was on the ground, did not have to wait for airborne, and log in was so easy with no signup etc.
Above the seat there is a tiny screen showing the flight path and other info / announcements.
It seems that Air Baltic operated all A220 on their fleet. We have another very short 45m flight with them (no code shared) from RIX to VNO (Vilnius, Lithuania) and it will be A220 as well. Cost €78 for 2 pax plus seat selection €18 for row 7.
