Hi

I'm trying to find out what the actual procedure for check in with Air Asia is! I'm flyingo ut of Perth and heading to KL. I'm really confused as to what the exact procedure is ie: self check in etc and what the heck do I do with my luggage.

Also I've heard some horror stories about KUL LCCT - is it still chaotic?

Thanks :)

At Perth International Air Asia usually have the check in counters on the far left hand side.

You can on-line check in with Air Asia.

Two queues at Perth.

1. Premium passengers and passengers who have already on-line checked-in and need to drop off bags.
2. Economy passengers.

LCCT isn't too bad. Air Asia check in counters aren't that well organised (i.e. they aren't that efficient) so expect some queuing and waiting. If you are there early eat before passing through customs / immigration (more choices).

All water bottles are confiscated at customs / immigration. (Of course once through you can buy another bottle - at 5 or 10 times the price of water in KL.)

Enjoy KL:)

Thank you so much for that Paul_PER...AirAsia check in was started to look like a non existent fantasy lol. :)
