Hi all, Im looking to book for myself wife and 11 year old son, a reward flight to Germany in J, we plan on having 6 weeks staying at 6 locations and probably returning from Paris,
Just after advice on who would be better to book through Virgin or SQ, it would require fewer points through Velocity but maybe there is greater flexibility with SQ??
any advice welcome as I lack experience

Thanks

Clive

Suggest you focus your attention on availability and forget about trying to juggle best value for points - in my experience SQ has far better options and award availability into Europe than what you will find on VA.

Edit: I should clarify that we have found that there are often SQ flights for which VA does not show award availability but SQ does have availability on the same flights i.e you can book with KF miles but not VFF points.

Ive recently done both SQ & VA but 2 different bookings.

SYD-SIN-AMS with VA (SQ metal) was easy and fast and then found a return via SQ. Did most of the SQ online entry, transferred points to KF and then completed SQ booking.

I know you said Germany but many another arrival and then train to Germany?
