Hi all I was wondering if someone could give me some points as to which program would suit my travelling and needs. I'm only really looking for a program that would allow me to claim back miles on say gadgets, hotel bookings and flights.

I currently have a Miles+More with 3000miles and couple of years I travelled with SQ from Brisbane to Frankfurt return however I was too lazy to claim the miles back (can I still do claim them though it's been 2 years and I have no boarding pass?) I'm looking to travel to Europe from Brisbane again this year and in the future I have Vanuatu, US, Africa planned. I'm not too preferential to airlines but I loved the quality of SQ when I travelled with them.

Domestically I travel a few times a year but spread evenly across Virgin, Jetstar and Qantas depending on whoever has the cheapest fare at the time.

So is there any FF program/s that would suit me so I can maximise my travel and benefits???

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

If you are not going to travel often enough I would not really worry too much about a FF program.

If flying SQ once in a while then you can credit miles to SQ Kris Flyer but these miles expire in 3 years. Other options to credit these miles would be BD, OZ, UA. I am not sure if you require any activity in these programs to keep miles active.

For domestic travel on DJ and QF then sign up for free for both Velocity and QFF and credit your flights to each respective FF program.

Hi everyone.
I am looking at getting a frequent flyer credit card to use points for travel (flights)
Average annual spend per year would be 150k +. Could you advise the best card to take advantage of for flights etc. This is all new to me so happy with any advice!

jughead77,

Welcome to AFF. :D

A little more information about your spending habits and where you want to fly will make answering a little easier.

Hi bill and Thanks!
My Spending habit on the card would mainly be supplies/ materials for the business.
This would be about $150k a year. Also petrol, repairs to car vehicles, and I realise that you can pay Tax with the card to gain points also.
Flights will be Peru/ Costa Rica this year, US (lax) and NZ next year. A couple of domestic flights per year in Australia also.
Thanks for your help.
Ryan
