Advice on getting JMB points

Hi, I am just after confirmation if this is the best way to get JMB points. I recently bought JAL premium economy and have the ability to upgrade to business using JMB points. I have Amex points which I can transfer to SPG which then converts to JMB. Is this the best option?

Yes, that's probably the best (and only) way to convert your Amex points to JAL Mileage Bank.

That said, I would only do this if you know you're going to get a guaranteed upgrade. You won't be able to reverse the transfer.
