advertising lasers?

I understand how google ads work, but given one of their "uses", isn't this a slightly odd ad to have in the rotation on a frequent flyer site?

I always thought those ads were location specific. They certainly are on another site that I admin.

I just looked them up, they are certainly off shore (see advertising does work, but it won't appear to have worked for Google ads as I didn't click the link)

Ironic that a laser website is advertised on a flight website, given the high profile that laser attacks on aircraft get.

EDIT: Holy cough! That laser in the picture is like four hundred bucks! Who buys such a thing?
