Hello,

I am flying with CX from ADL to Hong Kong and just wondering if I can access 'the Lounge' using a PP card.

Conditions: Limited to one guest per cardholder - Complimentary alcoholic drinks are limited to beer, wine and champagne - Children under 2 years are admitted free - Smart casual dress at all times (no shorts allowed) - Non-smoking.

Above is the entry condition of the Lounge and unlike MEL's the Lounge, it doesn't state that they limit the access only to domestic passengers. Anyone has experiences earlier? Thanks a lot.

I haven't been to the Adelaide lounge but from my own experience and others I've read the Melbourne lounge accepts the PP card with any airline including international flights. I would imagine Adelaide would have the same policy.

i have recently seen PP card holders knocked back in SYD and MEL but I think it was mainly due to the renovations currently being undertaken... I havent used the ADL lounge recently but from memory, i don't think it is being renovated....

Pretty sure it is accepted. And despite the rumors, the card should still be accepted in SYD and MEL again once renovations are complete.

Whilst it says you can take a guest, you'll still have to pay a fee for the guest to enter (the PP website details can be a little confusing in that regard).

You will have no problems. I have used PP at the Lounge when flying *gasp* Tiger.

I asked the last time about PP being no longer accepted at the Lounge and they said they didn't know and would be the last to find out.

So I guess you would have been in there for several hours waiting for the TT flight? ;)

I think the reason they don't know about it is because it's not actually true - it's only for the refurbishment that access may not be available due to capacity constraints, but otherwise it's business as usual.

Had no problem at all at 'the Lounge'. changed my flight... flew with JetStar to SYD then HKG to ICN. had some sandwiches and cookies w/ coffee. great staff and great service.
