I booked thru price beat & was only offered starter fare.
I asked JQ to add plus bundle but they say it can't be done & have to make a new booking , has this always been the case ?
Does anyone know how I can add plus bundle ?
.
Have done some reading & found JQ's T&C state they won't price beat plus fares.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

It is more of a general JQ policy ... price matches are treated like any starter fare. To change a starter to a plus fare requires payment of the change fee and fare difference.

With a price beat the change fee Is often greater than the original fare paid.

Sorry to add to an old thread, but I think I've found a way to add a Plus Bundle to a JQ price beat booking.

After selecting a seat for purchase online, and proceeding to the payment page, an option actually comes up to add a Plus Bundle to the booking. Unfortunately, the price is quite high at $114 for a MEL-SYD flight. That is about the same as the usual cost of the Plus Bundle ($35) plus the difference between the regular fare and the price I paid by doing a Price Beat.

Not sure if there's really any value in this (and I won't be paying the extra $114), but I guess this could be useful for some.
