I'm aiming to earn QFF Green status towards the end of my program year so that I can redeem the 50 bonus status credits for next year. One of the categories I noticed you can earn green tier with is purchasing carbon offsets in the flights you've booked. However, as I've booked every flight I intend to take for the rest of the program year (i.e. until end of November), I'm wondering if I could add the carbon offsets to an existing QF booking I made to earn status in that category? I checked manage booking to see if there were options to add the offsets but I could find anything there.

Thanks in advance,

Not possible at the moment. The t&c of green program suggest it might be possible at some points.

You would need to cancel and rebook one of your booking, or make a new booking (award?) and cancel once you get the green tick (probably safer to wait until you get to pick your rewards, which might take 21 days from green attain date, but who knows with Qantas).

I see this option below one of my existing bookings when logging into my QFF account and viewing my upcoming bookings:

If I click "Offset this trip", it takes me to the bottom of the page and there's an option to offset using Qantas points (only). Can't seem to pay for the offset using money, only points using this method.
