Adding an Amex A/C or 'Account Card'

I have tried searching a/c card, a/c american express card, and nothing has come up but I remember reading about it here multiple times.

I'm trying to set up my A/C card, spoke to Live Chat, said I can do it online which I thought you couldn't. I proceeded to add an additonal card holder the normal way as advised, and one of the terms was 'must not be in your name'. Spoke to Live Chat again, said I had to call. I did that, and they said they have to physically send (can't email) and then I can upload it via the online account.

Was there a way to expedite this process, or is that the only way an A/C card can be added?

I submitted the form online but I just received a phone call from AMEX saying that the form can't be processed and to do it online. Keep submitting the form online?

Did you submit the form by logging in to My Account then going to Card Management > Document Upload?

Maybe try it again?

Yep. Followed these steps. Upthread I heard that just keep uploading until someone knows how to do it so fingers crossed!

I did twice before I received the A/C card.

I submitted form, was called the next day and told to submit online, told them there was no option to do this only sup cards, caller said they were an accountant and people keep sending these forms and she cannot process them as the codes on the bottom of the form are outdated.
She then called me back today & said she spoke to her supervisor and confirmed that A/C cards are no longer offered.

When i got off the phone i resubmitted the form online haha, here’s hoping.

This seems to be the way to go. Keep trying until you get somebody who will process it for you.

Ok this has been helpful. I am about to apply for the plat charge, but let's say I have $10k personal and $15k business spending per month. I only want the business transactions to comes into my xero feed, can I do this with a different supp card (so I primary card for personal and wife's name for business)?

Any insight would be great

I tried a few months back with no success, submitted the form twice both times they called & said they don’t offer the card anymore.
Also that the codes on the pdf form are not recognised anymore

Wow, interesting that they don't do it anymore.

Seems the only work around would be to have an additional card but that would require another person's name. Bit hard though if they actually use it.

Centurion must be the only product now that allows it. It's actually set up automatically and is referred to as an A/C card in the paperwork. Makes no sense as to why the PC wouldn't allow it.

I already have one, but thought I'd ask about the 'A/C' card, to which she responded that "this is no longer being offered, but if you'd like you can still add an additional card at no cost, it just has to be under a different name".

Is she referring to a supplementary card?

Yeah she meant a supplementary card that counts against the 4 supplementary cards allowed whereas the A/C card didn’t count against that limit.

Dark days indeed.

Your A/C card will have "Firstname Lastname A/C" written in the name field
