Looking at booking some hotels for a US trip but when I tried to log in to my Gold Passport account, it gave an error message, so I contacted Hyatt and they advised the account had expired due to inactivity (didn't have any points in it anyway, so no problem there LOL). They told me it can't be reactivated so have suggested I enrol again as a new member, which I'm quite happy to do, but the enrolment keeps being rejected as it says the email address is already in use! I've sent a query off to them, but while I'm waiting for a reply, I just thought I'd check whether anyone here has come across this before - is it just a glitch in the system or do you have to use a new email address if enrolling again? Thanks.
